School Governors aquitted of Fraud charges

Sarnjit Lal, Head of Tuckers Private Client Department in London, has successfully defended two governors at Copland school in west London against charges of conspiracy to defraud the school.  Former head teacher, Sir Alan Davies, was convicted and received a custodial sentence.  However, as Indravadan Patel and Martin Day confirmed in their statement issued through Ms Lal, the case against “two unpaid voluntary school governors” was dropped.  Read more at http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2013/oct/03/headteacher-sentenced-false-accounting
