Tuckers enjoy strong showing in new Chambers directory

November 2, 2016

Tuckers have had an extremely strong showing in the new edition of the Chambers & Partners directory, released today, with top tier rankings in many areas of the directory.

In Crime, the firm is ranked in Band 1 in London and is in Band 1 on the basis of its national presence and in Manchester and Birmingham. Added to this, on an individual basis (for which the directory only ranks lawyers in London), Richard Egan, Jim Meyer and Phil Smith combine to make Tuckers the only firm with three lawyers ranked in Band 1. In addition, Sarnjit Lal is ranked in Band 4. There were improved rankings also in relation to Financial Crime, with the London office ranked in Band 3 and Richard Egan, Jim Meyer and Phil Smith also ranked individually in Band 3.

In Civil Liberties, the department has retained a Band 3 ranking as well as a Band 2 ranking in Police Law, with Andre Clovis ranked in Band 2.

And certainly not least, the firm’s Health & Safety department is now ranked in Band 4, alongside city firms Addleshaw Goddard and Osbourne Clarke. Jim Meyer is ranked in Band 3 and Julia Thomas is listed as a “Star Associate”.
