Acquittal for Tuckers client in high profile “beheading” case

In a case that has been widely reported in the media, Haseeb Hamayoon, who denied playing any part in planning a beheading attack was cleared by a judge at the Old Bailey after the jury could not reach a verdict at a retrial. Somsul Hoque and Vajahat Sharif represented Mr Hamayoon from the Tuckers’ Special Casework Department which specialises in high profile Terrorism cases.  Co-defendant Nadir Syed who was convicted received a life sentence with minimum of 15 years.
