Tuckers Solicitors has defended the full range of criminal law cases. We have a dedicated team of lawyers who are specialists in Magistrates Court and Crown Court proceedings.

You may be charged with common assault if you intentionally or recklessly use unlawful force on another person, or make them afraid that immediate force will be used on them.

Assault occasioning Actual Bodily Harm, or ABH as it is more commonly known, is the reckless or intentional assault to another person, resulting in injuries. This may be in the way of scratches and bruises.

Grievous Bodily Harm, or GBH as it is more commonly known, is a serious criminal offence, and is divided into two categories. GBH with intent is where an individual intended to cause “serious bodily harm” such as stabbing another with a knife. GBH without intent is the less serious of the two, where pain and harm was suffered but not “serious bodily harm”

We represent clients who may, in fact, be a victim of mistaken identity, as well as those who were acting in self defence. We can help you achieve justice and get you the best possible result.
