PC Harwood – the Tomlinson death PC under the microscope again

Jules Carey of Tuckers Solicitors who is representing Emilie Diakiese said “Despite Emilie’s age and the very serious nature of her allegations the Metropolitan Police failed to properly investigate her complaints. Instead they appear to have promptly swept the matter under the carpet. The officer has now finally been dismissed from the force for gross misconduct but it is clear that the Mets disciplinary process did not work for Emilie and has not worked for years. The Met recently admitted that their vetting procedures were flawed it is now time for them to admit that their disciplinary procedures are also hopelessly inadequate”.
