Eleanor Dobson

Eleanor qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and specialises in criminal defence. She is a qualified duty solicitor and firmly committed to providing support, advice and robust representation for her clients.

She has extensive experience of defending clients accused of offences of all ranges of seriousness and is regularly instructed to represent young people and those with mental health difficulties.

Eleanor has represented clients in the Kent Police Stations, Magistrates’ and Crown Courts for the last 10 years and has been praised by her clients for her professional attitude and ability to obtain the best possible outcome.

Eleanor is appointed to the Independent Monitoring Board at HMYOI Cookham Wood, which detains sentenced and remanded young people under the age of 18.  Eleanor is committed to ensuring that young people detained in custody at this establishment are treated with fairness and humanity.

Eleanor is a member of Kent Law Society.
