Position
Paralegal

Precious is a Paralegal at the Tuckers Kent branch and currently assists with Crown Court casework under the supervision of Nicola Hall. She is committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for clients and passionate about ensuring fair representation at every stage of the legal process.

Precious’ journey into criminal law began during her Criminology degree, where she developed a deep fascination with the complexities of the legal framework and its impact on individuals and communities. Her studies sparked a strong desire to work within a system that champions fairness and justice, inspiring her to pursue a career in criminal defence.

Before joining the firm, Precious gained valuable frontline experience working for two years in the prison and probation service as a Custody Clerk. In this role, she handled sentence calculations, bail releases, court productions, and licensing, gaining practical insight into the operational side of the law. She also worked as a Legal Assistant at a law firm, supporting solicitors with case preparation, legal research, and client care.

Combining her academic background with hands-on experience, Precious brings a thoughtful and client-focused approach to her work. She is particularly motivated to support those who may feel unheard within the system and is committed to further developing her legal expertise with the goal of qualifying as a solicitor.
